Each applicant MUST submit a set of 4 photos/slides, 3 close-ups of recent work, 1 each of 3 different works plus one of booth display. A photo/slide showing the artist at work would be appreciated for promotional use, but is not required. Photos/slides must be labeled to include the number of photo and name of the artist/crafter. (Poor quality photos/slides will discourage jury acceptance).
On a separate sheet or back of photos, the artist/crafter MUST present a summary related to each photo/slide including description of the work and how it was made.
Work will be judged for quality, suitability, and originality or conformity with tradition. Must be made by the presenting Artist. (Clear photos are a must)
Quotas will exist for each media category of art/craft in order to present an interesting and balanced show.
Photos/slides will be returned to all artists/crafters not accepted for show, provided the artist/crafter submits a self-addressed stamped envelope. Photos/slides of artists/crafters accepted will be retained by the show and used for verification and for promotional purposes. Such photos may not be returned.
Applications for jury must be received by May 1, 2010 and notification of acceptance or rejection will be mailed As Soon As Possible. Jury meets once a month after Feb. 1, 2010.
