Fall! By The Tracks

The eleventh annual "Fall! By The Tracks" Festival of The Old Depot Association will be held the 3rd Saturday in October (20), 2007, from 10 AM to 4 PM at The Old Depot on Sutton Ave. in Black Mountain, North Carolina. The Old Depot Association is a Non-profit (501-C3) organization established to preserve the depot and to support arts and heritage in the Swannanoa Valley. Funds raised at "Fall! By The Tracks" are utilized in meeting these objectives.

The Old Depot Association celebrates over 30 years of service to the Swannanoa Valley and the town of Black Mountain. Mountain Arts Program emphasizes the need to preserve native Western North Carolina crafts and culture. The Old Depot Gallery is but one way the Association helps preserve this heritage. The gallery exhibits the works of over 75 local artists. The Association offers hands-on experience to local schools by providing students with artists' lectures and workshops to include dance, poetry, puppetry and the requests for assistance from local school faculty and staff.
